The band Urusei Yatsura formed while members Fergus Lawrie and Graham Kemp attended the University of Glasgow. Members of the Glaswegian twee-pop band Belle and Sebastian also attended. Like Urusei Yatsura, Belle and Sebastian also debuted their first album, Tigermilk, in 1996.
