Fred Allen - "Linit Bath Club Revue" CBS 1932-1933 (1933)

Ferde Grofé eventually moved on from arranging for Whiteman to heading his own radio orchestra for comedian Fred Allen.  Fred Allen was a vaudeville comedian who found success all the way to Broadway and finally settled in radio during the start of the format's Golden Age.  Never committing anything to record specifically for release, Allen's revues survive in archives that have only occasionally seen a record release.  Only a couple episodes from the first two years of his ever-changing sponsored show survive and two of them were collected as "Linit Bath Club Revue" CBS 1932-1933.
